FRITZ!Box works as a DSL modem and does not establish an Internet connection of its own. All connected network devices establish their own Internet connections.
Note: Internet telephony is only possible in the "Use one Internet connection for all computers (router)" operating mode.
When this option is enabled, only PPPoE packets are transmitted over DSL. There is no chance that packets can be transferred from files and printers released for sharing with Internet users.
If this option is disabled, all data packets will be transmitted via DSL. The "DSL" LED is turned off. All computers must be located in the same IP network.
